It’s the Nambour GEMFEST again, held at the Nambour Showgrounds, Saturday 11th October. From 8 am to 4 pm
This year is bigger and better than ever before with well over 120 stalls, all undercover in the Main Pavilion and 2 large Outdoor pavilions.
This is one of the most popular shows of the year, with traders and dealers showcasing fantastic Crystals, Jewellery, gemstones, opals, minerals, crafts and much more.
Lots of lucky door prizes, Great Raffle, kids fossicking, Prizes for kids puzzle corner. All day food and drinks, and more.
Entry is still only $8.00, kids under 12 free. $2.00 parking donation to Palmwoods Scouts.
The Nambour Lapidary Club would like to Welcome you and invite you to participate in this years' Gemfest.
For those of you who have been involved in the Gemfest before, we thank you for your past participation.
If you are applying for the first time, we hope you have a wonderful day.
In 2021 we had over 1700 paying guests come through the doors (kids under 12 free) and we are looking forward to more this year.
Your support is particularly important, not only for the club, so we can keep it running each year, but also for the
Industry in general. It is important that we continue to showcase Australian made items of Jewellery, stones and
minerals, as often as possible through Gem shows. And everyone has to eat. Stalls are limited to maximum 10 sites, and confirmation is first in best dressed.
These shows are important to show the public the value of the Lapidary and Jewellery makers in the Community.
GEMFEST 2021
• Trading will commence at 8a.m. - all cars will need to be removed from trading sites by 7.45a.m.
• All pavilion sites will be under cover. Those choosing the outside perimeter sites should bring a gazebo to protect from inclement weather. All sites are 3.5mx 3m minimum.
• Overnight Camping is also available in the showgrounds, for a nominal fee.
• A dedicated controller will be available to assist traders in each pavilion during setup.
• Electricity will be available to all sites and cost will be shown on registration form. No electrical set ups will be available after the show opens. For safety reasons and no untagged electrical cables can be used.
• Sites in the Main pavilion include power, a table and a chair. Sorry you may not use your own table in this pavilion for space reasons.
• A portable ATM machine will be available to aid stall holders to increase sales.
• Public address system to continually direct customers to Traders with specials.
